இன்று உலகமெங்கும் பல்வேறு அன்பர்களால் பலமொழிகளில் “ஸ்ரீரங்கா“ “ஸ்ரீரங்கா“ என்று எழுதியனுப்பட்ட “ஸ்ரீரங்கநாம“ பிரதிஷ்டை கருடன் ஸந்நியின் முன்பாக செய்யப்பட்டது. அவர்கள் எழுதியனுப்பிய ஸ்ரீரங்கநாமம் தாங்கிய தாள்கள் அடுக்கப்பட்டு கருடன் ஸந்நிதி முன்பாக ஒரு கல்தொட்டி அமைக்கப்பட்டு அதில் தர்ப்பாஸனத்தின் மீது பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டு நன்றாக பந்தனம் செய்யப்பட்டு பின்பு அதன்மேல் தளம் அமைக்கப்பட்டது.
இப்போது ஸந்நிதி கருடன் ஸ்ரீரங்கநாமத்தினையும் தரிசித்தவண்ணம் உள்ளார்.

It is good that the temples are being renovated. However the vogue of plastering the temples and layering with glazed tiles is just too bad. The temples start looking more like toilets.
There is also least amount of importance given to the inscriptions and sculptures. The renovation is highly specialized job, the cost involved is high, if it is to be done properly. However it is better to leave the temple crumbling than converting it into a toilet.
